Defender 5000 has been updated to provide more options compared to the original D51P Defenders that have been on the market for the past 10+ years.  There is now a Micro SD card available for storage as well as the RS232 and USB ports.  The memory storage supports 50,000 item library and 1,000 user profiles which can be downloaded/uploaded for easy set up using the Ohaus Scalemate software.  On-screen prompts and soft keys will guide you through the operation of the scale.
