Explorer Analytical BalanceWith so many lab balances flooding the market how do you know the Ohaus Explorer is the best balance out there for the money and capable of meeting your specific needs? Explorer Series is one of the least expensive touch screen balances on the market and uses a Mettler Toledo magnetic force restoration load cell. Simply levelling the balance out of the package demonstrates its ability to tell you which of the leveling feet need adjustment for the Explorer to become even.

Ohaus Explorer Series has become NTEP approved, its pill counting feature may be used for prescription filling and it meets the needs of the manufacture of pharmaceuticals where legal for trade is a requirement. Pharmacy balances in the Explorer Series end in the letter "N" to indicate its NTEP approved status. Class I and II prescription scales will be marked with “The Counting Feature for Prescription Filling Only”.

Touchless sensors (a standard feature) allow you to program actions that will be performed by waving your hand in front of the sensors rather than needing to touch buttons on the screen. Foot tare switch is also available as an optional item.

Every aspect of weighing is touched upon including software that assists you in levelling the balance efficiently.  Internal calibration comes standard and will automatically calibrate the balance every 11 hours or when it senses a temperature change that could affect results.
