When weighing meat or other ingredients, you need to be able to properly clean the balance off when your weighing is complete. Washdown protection enables you to disinfect the balance without destroying the electronic components. Please be aware that washdown scales can be hosed down, but not submerged under water. Doing so, can in fact destroy the balance.

Compact Stainless Steel Scale Valor 3000 Xtreme model V31XW3 provides washdown protection for those messy weighing applications. For use in wet applications, the Valor 3000 offers an even higher level of protection by offering full NEMA 4X/IP65 water resistance. All Valor 3000 Xtreme models are
USDA-AMS accepted, NSF listed/certified, and will support a HACCP certified system. Valor 3000 Xtreme is battery powered for maximum portability and convenience. Valor 3000 Xtreme features QuadraStanceTM, with four wide adjustable feet to ensure that the scale stays ultra-secure and slip free during operation in wet or dry conditions, on any surface.

Ohaus utilized clean sheet design and focused on offering the most durable and portable food portioning scale available. Valor 3000 is highest precision weighing scale in its class with complete stainless steel construction. If you require IP65 rated protection, there are 3 washdown models available. The fact that they feature IP65/NEMA 4 protection means they are water resistant and protected from dust particles.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're unsatisfied with your purchase, please call the Customer Service Department at 603-782-8599 to facilitate an exchange due to manufacturer defect.

Exchanges can be processed within 5 business days of receipt. Please call before shipping any products back to us so we can issue a Return Material Authorization Number (RMA#). You will need to place this number clearly on the return packaging. Please remember to include all contents such as promotional items, accessories, and instruction manuals that came in the original order. The buyer is responsible for freight charges when exchanging purchases. Exchanges can only be made for the same purchased model due to defects. RMA numbers expire after 20 days.

After five days you must call the manufacturer regarding the warranty.

We reserve the right to refuse to issue credit for any item that has been used, misused or damaged. We also reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% on returns of opened, used, or damaged products.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen returned merchandise before it reaches our warehouse and signed for by one of our employees.

A purchase cannot be cancelled once it has been shipped. Undeliverable or refused shipments will be subject to a 25% restocking charge plus the cost of shipping and handling. Special orders, custom items, calibration weights and baby scales cannot be returned. All sales are final.
